B Corps at the Beach

B Corps at the Beach

Last week, we proudly partnered with an assembly of like-minded brands and visionary changemakers, all gathered to spark meaningful conversations and foster collaborations for lasting positive change. B Corps at the Beach was an enchanting celebration of community and purpose set against the stunning backdrop of Harlyn Bay.

The picturesque PIG Hotel served as the perfect venue for this thoughtfully curated two-day retreat, designed to offer a rest from the pace of city life. Attendees were treated to a program filled with insightful discussions, hands-on masterclasses, and impactful networking opportunities. Expert speakers and innovative brands shared their insights on essential topics, from localising sustainability to pioneering purpose-driven product innovations.

As the event unfolded, our CEO, Ian Greaves, contributed his valuable perspective on regional collaboration and their transformative impact. The energy in the room was great as guests explored how businesses can commit to meaningful diversity, equity, and inclusion in an ever-evolving landscape.

Throughout the gathering, the warm, inviting aroma of our beloved Bay & Rosemary fragrance permeated the space, created by our Scented Tin Candles, Tealights, Victorian Pots, and Reed Diffusers. The enchanting herbaceous scent provided a serene backdrop as conversations deepened and connections flourished. The gentle flicker of traditional Church Candles added a touch of warmth, casting a golden glow that embraced attendees in a soothing atmosphere.

For the sustainable supper club, we meticulously selected a vibrant array of Ochre, Terracotta, Rose Quartz, and Ivory Dinner Candles, each chosen to harmonise with the captivating floral arrangements. Nestled in our seamless Stone Speckled Holders, these candles enhanced the organic charm of the gathering. A space where attendees could share their aspirations and reflect on their journeys.

Guests immersed themselves in the art of a candle-making masterclass, guided by Ian and our Production Manager, Eamonn, at our factory in North Cornwall. They dived into the intricate process of selecting pots from our Enchantment Collection, wicking, and pouring wax infused with the soothing Granite & Moss fragrance.

As we reflect on this beautiful gathering, we would like to say a big, heartfelt thank you to the Good Company team, our fellow B Corps, and everyone who shared in this moment together, as part of our B Corp Month celebrations.
