In addition to spreading joy to our customers through our recent festive promotion, we were deeply dedicated to creating a meaningful impact on a cause that holds a special place in our hearts – The Trussell Trust.

A testament to the collective power of small actions, thanks to your support we donated £2,000 to The Trussell Trust this November. Together, we have made a positive impact and spread the light of kindness.

On a mission to stop UK hunger, The Trussell Trust is an incredible charity which supports local and national communities, with whom we have donated to foodbanks nearest us in Newquay, Wadebridge, Bodmin and further afield. Their commitment to combating hunger and poverty aligns with our values of making a positive impact. The funds raised will go directly towards providing essential support to those facing food insecurity, particularly during the upcoming holiday season.

Designed to provide short-term, emergency support with food during a crisis, The Trussell Trust aims to relieve the immediate pressure and offer additional support- helping people move beyond the repeated use of food banks.

Providing almost 3 million food supplies between April 2022 and March 2023 to those in need, The Trussell Trust operates from a network of more than 1,300 food banks across the UK. As well as food, The Trussell Trust ensures that they supply non-food essentials such as health products, bedding and furniture where possible.

As we ease further into the winter season, and with 14 million people in the UK now living below the poverty line, showing support for such an incredible charity is as important as ever.
