Here at St. Eval, we are blessed to be located in Cornwall's beautiful natural landscape. The 5th of March holds special significance as St. Piran’s Day, where we celebrate the magical wonders that the great Saint created and rediscovered. Legend has it, upon arriving on the Cornish coast, St Piran stumbled upon the discovery of tin, a pivotal moment that propelled tin mining into becoming one of Cornwall’s leading industries for centuries. This discovery also led to the creation of the iconic black-white flag, now synonymous with Cornwall itself.
